Furor over grave access in Perry

Residents to meet about limited library access

PERRY, NY (WIVB) - Residents in the town of Perry are upset over what has been limited access to the Perry library.

Perry area veterans are planing a prayer service to protest the library Board's draft policy to limit public access to the graves in the Pioneer Cemetery on the library grounds.

Resident Valary Sahrle tells News 4 they are also upset over what they say is a plan to pave pver Perry first founder's graves with a parking lot.

The protest is scheduled for 3:30 pm Wednesday afternoon.
