Month-long Virtual Job Fair for casinos

WESTERN NEW YORK, (WIVB) - The Seneca Gaming Corporation will be hosting several job fairs along with a "Virtual Job Fair" available online all month long for job seekers throughout the area.

Interested applicants should visit http://www.SenecaCasinos.com and click on "Seneca + Buffalo: The Real Deal" to submit a resume and cover letter.

All three casinos in Western New York will be hosting career fairs seeking potential employees to work in their establishments.

Opportunities available vary from: table game dealers and management; count team supervisors and clerks; cage shift supervisors and cage cashiers; slot supervisors and slot attendants and many more.

Saturday's job fair is held at the Burt Flickinger Athletic Center, located at 21 Oak Street in Buffalo on the Erie Community College City Campus. Candidates can learn about different available positions at the newly expanded Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. Anyone interested is encouraged to submit materials online via the Virtual Job Fair. It goes until 4 p.m.

Future job fairs include:
Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel -Spring Job Fair on Wednesday, March 20 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls.

Seneca Niagara Events Center in Niagara Falls-Dealer Job Fair on Wednesday, April 24 with two sessions at 11 a.m. and another at 3 p.m.  Interviewers will have the chance to enroll in free blackjack training classes toward earning an operating license.

Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel- Summer Job Fair on Wednesday, June 5 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca.

Job seekers should bring copies of a resume, dress professionally, and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
