NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - Another round of snow hit western New York, but this time it was the North Towns, Niagara, and Orleans Counties that were hit the hardest.
Last weekend, parts of WNY received some Lake Effect Snow that hit the same areas this weekend in which residents said this batch of snow was much worse.
Heavy wet snow fell since the temperatures were near freezing. When the Lake Effect Snow hit, it was much colder making it a light powder that most areas from Friday to Saturday morning.
Jon Norris of Kenmore did not think what we got overnight was that bad. "Last night was the fluffy stuff, yesterday was the heavy stuff so it was pretty easy. It's been worse; I don't hate it."
"It's been worse" is the overall feeling of a lot for people.
This not being the first snowfall of the winter, people are prepared for what they have to do to avoid high snow buildup.
This is western New York after all and as many would agree with, "If you live here, you have got to love it."
