JAVA CENTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - A Java Center resident is accused of omitting information on an application for benefits at Wyoming County Department of Social Services.
The Wyoming County Sheriff's Office says 36-year-old Charlene Burfield Gross received $5,044 in benefits that she wasn't entitled to.
Gross has been charged with Offering a False Instrument for Filing and Welfare Fraud.
