BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - There are some changes to the Metro Rail schedule for Saturday, because of demolition work in the city’s project to return traffic to Main Street.
The NFTA says all surface level train service will be shut down on March 2nd from 7:05 a.m. until noon. The train will operate underground between the University and Allen Medical Campus stations.
For customers traveling through the aboveground section, the NFTA will have a bus between the Allen Medical Campus and Erie Canal Harbor stations. Inbound, the passengers will travel by way of Pearl Street, where they will be picked up or left off a block west of the stations. Outbound customers will travel by way of Washington Street, where they will be picked up or let off one block east of the outbound stations.
The Saturday schedule will apply for the underground train service, however there may be delays in service.
