Gowns 4 Proms kicks off for March

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Do you have formal dresses and accessories sitting in your closet you know you won't need anymore? Bring them to us and other local businesses!

The Gowns for Proms Campaign starts Saturday that collects new and gently used prom dresses, purses, and other accessories for local students in need.

All month long, anyone is welcome to drop off their belongings no longer needed right here at Channel 4, the Boulevard Mall, Colvin Cleaners, Shea's Performing Arts Center, and T.T. New York.

A special collection date will be held Saturday, March 9th from 11 to 3 p.m. at the Boulevard Mall.
