Zillycakes to close in March

BUFFALO, NY (WIVB) - Zillycakes is calling it quits. The dessert shop at Elmwood near Potomac will be shutting its doors March 9.

Owner Zilly Rosen made the announcement on Facebook on Monday saying she is leaving the business to spend more time with family. Her attempts to sell the business were not successful but she’ll collaborate with Deborah Clark of Delish! to make wedding cakes that have already been ordered.
