Major twist in hazing investigation

WILSON, N.Y. (WIVB) - The investigation into a hazing incident in the Wilson School District is expanding.

News 4 has learned State Police are now conducting an internal investigation, looking into the way some of their own investigators handled the case.

The case involves three varsity baseball players accused of sexually assaulting junior varsity players on a bus ride home from a game last year.

Defense attorney Andrew Vona said, "We have been made aware of the investigation. I don't know how in depth it will be and how long it will take."

Three teenagers are charged with forcibly touching their teammates.

The State Police investigation will focus on how troopers conducted their investigation into the alleged crime.
