NEW YORK - A Lady Liberty replica statue that was stolen outside a Brooklyn coffee shop last month appears to have turned up in an online video clip showing its beheading.

The clip, titled "Liberty Vox Pop Death," shows the statue blindfolded and then laying its side. A hand saw proceeds to cut the statue at its neck and then a baseball bat smashes its head. Phrases "We Don't Want Your Freedom" and "Death to America" flash across the screen during the clip.

Running less than a minute the clip evokes the terrorist-produced videos of the decapitations of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl and American entrepreneur Nicholas Berg.

"I'm scared. I'm hoping I don't have to fear for my life, but I feel very nervous," said Debi Ryan, owner of the coffee shop, to the New York Daily News after watching the video.

The Vox Pop coffee shop 's slogan is "Books, Coffee, Democracy" and its logo features images on the Statue of Liberty, Ghandi, Che Guevara and others.

The New York Post reported that the police are investigating the video.
