Billy Joel is movin' out

Singer is selling his Hampton homes

    SAGAPONACK, NY - He's movin' out. Singer Billy Joel is selling a pair of oceanfront properties in Long Island's Hamptons community, an apparent downsizing of his holdings following a split with wife Katie Lee Joel.

    One home belonged to the late "Jaws" actor Roy Scheider. Joel bought it for his newlywed wife in 2004. He also purchased a bungalow on adjacent property in 2007.

    The couple announced a split earlier this year and now the rock 'n' roll Hall-of-Famer is selling both parcels.

    Real estate agent Biana Stepanian says the larger "Scheider" home is selling for $22.5 million and the asking price on the bungalow is $12.5 million.
