Budget allows supermarket wine sales

Plan calls for New York to join 35 states

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The governor's plan is once again calling for wine sales at supermarkets and snacks at liquor stores.

The governor's budget plan calls for New York to join 35 states that allow supermarket wine sales.

The governor estimates it could bring New York $92 million from a store franchise fee.
