Cuomo signs gun law in Rochester

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Governor Andrew Cuomo is in Rochester Wednesday afternoon, attending a ceremonial signing of the state’s new, tough gun laws.

Lawmakers passed the bill Tuesday, limiting the amount of ammunition allowed in a clip for some automatic weapons.

The governor has been passionate about the legislation, inspired by the Christmas Eve shootings of four firefighters in Webster.
