Hochul to be sworn in on June 1st

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - We now know when Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul will officially become a member of Congress.

News 4 has learned she will be sworn-in next Wednesday, June 1st. Hochul defeated Republican rival Jane Corwin and Tea Party candidate Jack Davis in Tuesday's special election to fill Chris Lee's seat. Hochul's victory marked the GOP's first loss ever in the 26th District.
