SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - The U.S. attorney in Syracuse says a former volunteer wrestling coach has been sentenced to 18 years in federal prison for enticing a 12-year-old boy to send him sexually explicit pictures and videos.
Joshua Rice of Brewerton admitted in February that he told the boy a teenage girl was interested in him and if he texted Rice lewd pictures, Rice would send the boy explicit images of the girl. The 27-year-old Rice admitted he had done the same thing with three additional children.
After Rice completes his prison term, he'll spend 25 years on supervised release. He also was ordered to pay a fine of $5,000, and will have to register as a sex offender.
