ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fallout from a suspected "sex party" at a juvenile detention center downstate is prompting new calls for change.
Governor David Paterson is proposing new oversights and tighter restrictions.
Just recently, Republican lawmakers called for state Children and Family Services Commissioner, Gladys Carrion, to resign. Senator Kathy Young of Olean claims Carrion failed to prevent a dance from turning into a sex party at a Hudson Valley detention facility.
