BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Two candidates have declared their candidacy for a state senate seat.
Mike Kuzma threw his hat in the ring for the 58th district seat held by William Stachowski. He's an assistant to buffalo common council president David Franczyk.
Now Erie County legislator Tim Kennedy added his name to the list of candidates.
Kennedy said, "This is about us, the WNY family being bullied by Albany. We're not going to take it any longer."
Stachowski has spent nearly three decades in the state senate.
