ROCHESTER, NY (WIVB) - Eastman Kodak is mounting up more job cuts, this week notifying New York State that it will eliminate another 140 positions by July 15.
The bankrupt printing and imaging company has filed six notices with the Labor Department since filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in January. So far around 500 employees have been let go.
Kodak ended 2011 with a Rochester-area workforce of 5,100.
The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that the NYS Labor Department has been notified that the Kodak divisions affected will be Kodak Research Labs, corporate headquarters at 343 State St., Eastman Business Park operations and Kodak’s Manitou Road operations..
