Kodak expects to shed 1,000 workers

Layoffs in addition to 2,700 earlier this year

ROCHESTER, NY (WIVB) - Monday morning Kodak made a gloomy announcement saying it wouldslash its workforce by an additional 1,000 workers by the end of this year.  This is in addition to the 2,700 employees let go since the beginning of 2012.

Kodak expects to save $330 million by making the reductions.

The company also announced it will reorganize its senior management team to accelerate the changes.
