BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Several attorneys recently added to a New York man's lawsuit claiming part ownership of Facebook are withdrawing from the case.
The lawyers from New York City-based Milberg LLP and the western New York firms of Calihan Law and Jones & Skivington asked to drop out of Paul Ceglia's lawsuit in a joint federal court filing this week. Milberg attorney Sanford Dumain declined Thursday to explain why. All had joined the case in March.
Attorneys from several other firms also have come and gone since the suit was filed in 2010.
Ceglia continues to be represented by his original lawyer, Paul Argentieri of Hornell, and Dean Boland of Lakewood, Ohio, who joined in October.
Facebook has aggressively fought Ceglia's claims against the Menlo Park, Calif., company and founder Mark Zuckerberg.
