NYS wineries make world class list

New York's Finger Lakes made it to to near the top of the list as a travel destination for wine lovers.

Popular travel site TripAdvisor announced the winners of this year's Wine Destination Awards.  The Finger Lakes region came in at fourth, just below well-beloved California locations of Sonoma and Napa Valley and the Williamette Valley in Oregon.

TripAdvisor named 32 wine hot spots around the world.  Here is their list from the winners in the United States.

1.       Sonoma County, CA

2.       Napa Valley, CA

3.       Willamette Valley, OR

4.       Finger Lakes, NY

5.       Long Island, NY

6.       Paso Robles, CA

7.       Temecula Valley, CA

8.       Walla Walla, WA

9.       Palisade, CO

10.   Plymouth, CA
