Crews begin tearing down Lockport Mall

LOCKPORT, N.Y. (WIVB) - The wrecking crew is paving the way for progress in Niagara County.
Crews began demolishing the vacant Lockport Mall on Wednesday. The building is being torn down to make way for a Wal-Mart Supercenter. The mall stood vacant for years as the Wal-Mart project became tied up in court. The Bon-Ton store will remain on the site.
