LEWISTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Deputies have identified the body of a man originally from Mississippi found on the Lewiston Sand Docks in Niagara County.

The body of 34-year-old Ashley Harris was found near the sand docks this past Saturday. The Coast Guard brought the body to shore, and Niagara County Sheriff's investigators worked to determine the man's identity. They eventually succeeded through a fingerprint match.

Harris's death has been ruled an accidental drowning.
