NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - NYS Parks Police are asking for the public's help after pulling a woman's body from the lower Niagara River.
The remains were located on August 11th, and police say it appears the woman's body was in the water for one to three days. The victim was taken for an autopsy and police are looking for help identifying the woman.
She is described as being between 25- to 40-years-old with black hair around 15 inches long. She is 5'6" and weighs 177 pounds. She has three to four piercings in each ear and a tattoo of a rose on her right ankle. She also has a name in the banner of a tattoo that says either "Shane" or "Share."
