NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - A high school senior led a rally against violence in Niagara Falls Thursday night.
Craisuanda Paige invited the community to the Hyde Park Stadium parking lot to stand together and pray for peace.
"Treat people the way they want to be treated and it will all just start a domino effect and the violence will eventually stop," Paige said.
Fourth District Legislator Owen Steed added, "I'd like to see young men start believing in themselves again. They find it easy to pick up guns and I want to see that stop."
Just last week in the Falls, a 2-year-old girl was seriously injured when she was shot in the face. Police are still looking for the shooter.
