NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's not too often WNY gets a warm weekend in November and many homeowners took full advantage.
John Asklar is somewhat of a holiday decorating expert. He got an early start on his display on Cliff Street in Niagara Falls by pulling out the ladder and bins full of decorations.
It's a two-day project that has gained national attention. The family is a past winner of the HGTV Home Decorating Contest.
"This is fantastic. This is a gift. I'm trying to make the most of it, and get as much done as it can. The great weather is making me do this. I'd rather do this now than when it's icing and freezing and my hands are blue. It's been a two-day job so far," Asklar said.
His son will then synchronize the light display to a computer.
