WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Niagara County SPCA is lowering prices on adoptions to help the cats rescued from a dilapidated house.
The SPCA needs space so they can take in 50 cats found living in squalor in Somerset. Authorities tells News 4 the home was condemned after building inspectors found the walls were saturated in urine and feces was piled two to three feet high inside the home.
The SPCA has been busy trapping the feral cats ever since. To make room, from Friday through Sunday, fees on adoptions will be $19.99 for cats and $29.99 for dogs.
