SEASIDE, OR (WIVB) - It's time to get out your pens and paper - brushing up on your creative writing skills could land you this piece of prime sea-side real-estate.
During these tough economic times, dreams of owning a beach house may be pretty far off - until now.
An Oregon man is giving away his coastal home for just $99, but there is a catch. You have to write an essay explaining why you want to own it.
Theodore Zennis owns a quaint home in Seaside, Oregon. He says he loves living there, but has to move and he's having trouble finding a buyer.
So he is asking for people to write a very short essay, answering the question "Why do you want this beach house?"
He says he will pick the most creative entry.
