ONTARIO, CANADA (WIVB) - A Buffalo man has died after falling into Stony Lake in Ontario, Canada.

Thursday night around 9:15 p.m., 81-year-old Douglas Reed slipped while walking on his dock, striking his head and falling into the water. His wife heard the splash and rushed to his aid, pulling him from the water with the help of her nephew.

Reed was taken by boat to a marina, where they met the ambulance. He was later pronounced dead at Peterborough Regional Health Centre.
