NIAGARA FALLS, ONT. (WIVB) - A man who was critically hurt in a fiery crash across the border in Niagara Falls, Ontario has died.

The victim had been recovering at ECMC, where he was rushed to after Monday's horrific crash on Schisler Road. An Ontario Provincial Police officer rushed over to the burning vehicle to help.

The name of the victim who died has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Niagara Regional Police.
