CARLTON, N.Y. (WIVB) - Five Holley teenagers have been charged with disrupting a religious service.

Facing the charge is 18-year-olds Dylan Phillips, Anthony Ogden and Jeff Donahue and 17-year-olds Mark Vendetti and Tim Weader. Vendetti is also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

It happened Monday night at the World Sufi Foundation Mosque, in the Orleans County Town of Carlton. The teens allegedly drove in front of the mosque beeping car horns and yelling obscenities.

The same thing allegedly took place August 27th, this time 17-year-old Mark Vendetti is accused of firing a shot gun.

Members of the mosque say they have been harassed for the past few nights, and some of the members of the mosque actually chased down a car Monday night, after the driver of the car allegedly tried to strike one of the members of the mosque.

The Orleans County D.A. Joseph Cardone is still considering whether to file hate crime charges.
