BATAVIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - As people of all ages celebrate Halloween, State Police will work to keep roadways safe, especially for kids walking through neighborhoods.
Police will increase patrols from October 26th through October 31st. State Police have planned DWI sobriety checkpoints, DWI roving patrols, and aggressive driver enforcement efforts will be conducted at various locations.
Police say they will also focus on retail stores and establishments that sell alcohol, to make sure no one under the age of 21 can purchase alcohol.
