BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Western New York's small-government crusader is setting his sights on state lawmakers.

Activist Kevin Gaughan unveiled a proposal Monday to trim 12 members from the State Senate, as well as 25 Assembly seats.

Gaughan sent a letter to lawmakers asking to make their position on downsizing public so it can be posted online.
