HAMBURG, N.Y. (WIVB) - Hamburg voters have given resounding approval to the downsizing of their town board to three members.
The reduction to three members passed by a margin of 4,424 to 2,876 in the unofficial tally including absentee ballots.
The change takes effect in 2012. Hamburg follows West Seneca, Evans, Orchard Park and Alden in the downsizing tidal wave led by Kevin Gaughan.
