BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A western New York Congressman is proposing a sort of waiting period for legislation, to let Americans read it.
Republican Chris Lee says the house and senate need to be fully transparent to Americans.
His "read the bill" measure would require any bills be made public for 72 hours before they could vote on it.
All the bills would be posted on the internet.
