WASHINGTON, D.C. (WIVB) - It is the talk of the town, and the nation. Now, the Eric Massa scandal has made it to the late-night talk shows.
It was only a matter of time before the bizarre antics of former southern tier congressman, Eric Massa, became fodder for late-night TV.
Letterman had a field day with the Massa story on his show Thursday night.

Letterman said, "And this guy goes on Glenn Beck and he said, sure I tickled my staff and they they all piled on me. I tickled a guy so much he couldn't breath, with a certain amount of boasting, a certain amount of pride."
But this controversy is no laughing matter on Capitol Hill. House democrats have now blocked a republican push to investigate democratic leaders over their dealings with Massa.
The former southern tier representative resigned earlier this week, amid allegations he sexually harassed a male staffer .
GOP leaders now want to know whether key democrats knew about the claims and covered them up.
"Speaker Pelosi and the democrats were elected and put into the majority in congress in 06' representing that they would conduct themselves in a way to have the most clean, the cleanest most open, ethical congress in the history of this country. I think now its fairly obvious that that promise is being broken every day," said Congressman Eric Cantor, republican, Minority Whip.
