BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Congresswoman Louise Slaughter is the latest target of choice for outspoken members of the Tea Party movement.

Demonstrators on Main Street say they're being ignored by Louise Slaughter and other lawmakers who are trying to push through health care reform. Some say they're not opposed to changing health care, but they are firmly against the way some Democrats are trying to make it happen so quickly and in a way, they say, would not require the same number of votes usually needed to pass legislation.

Allen Conigilo said, "We told them many, many times that we don't want their offering, but they continue with it. They are ignoring us. They're laughing at us. They act like we're a bunch of lunatics. We're working people. We're the people that pay the taxes, we're the people that build these buildings, we're the people that make America run."

"We need health care reform. Granted. I agree with that. We do not need a 3,000 page bill," said Tom Kazmierczak.

We have learned that Friday morning someone threw a brick through Congressman Slaughter's office window in Niagara Falls. The demonstrators say they will continue to protest until someone pays attention to what they are saying. We have not yet heard back from Congressman Slaughter's spokesman.
