NY state budget passes on time

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - Make it two in a row for New York State. There is another on-time budget.

The $132.5 billion spend plan increased spending by about 2% without raising taxes or fees. Schools and Medicaid will see a 4% jump in funding. Western New York also gets a $100 million down payment on the Governor's billion dollar pledge for Buffalo.
