NYS Guide: How to pick a judge

ALBANY, NY (AP) - The New York State Unified Court System has published an online voter guide with information about candidates for judgeships.

The guide lists candidates by county, with biographical information from those who chose to participate, including occupation, education, professional history and a short personal statement.

It lists races for state court elections including county, family, supreme and surrogate's courts, as well as district, city and civil courts in New York City.
