RIPLEY, NY (WIVB) - A Ripley man was struck by a train Wednesday night on South State Street.
Timothy R. Luke Jr., 23, of Ripley was sent flying into the air as his left leg was struck by the train.
A witness said that Luke apparently did not see the approaching Norfolk-Southern train.
He was treated by Ripley Fired then transported to Hamot Hospital in Erie, PA. Officials say the victim suffered a broken leg.
