ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - It appears the month long Senate stalemate has finally come to an end.

Is it the threat of not being paid, or pressure from constituents?

But it appears fighting factions in the New York State Senate have worked out their differences.

All sides in a month-long standoff in the State Senate say they've agreed to work out a power-sharing deal.

The word out of Albany is that the conflict that began on June 8th could be over as early as Thursday.

According to the Associated Press, the governor and leaders of the Democratic conference and a Republican-dominated coalition say they will share top leadership positions and share resources all sides still need to work out how it will be done.

We should keep in mind that the parties have been close to so called "deals" before, only to have them fall apart.
