JAMESTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 5-year-old girl has died after sledding down a hill and into the roadway and being struck by a car.
Jamestown Police say the accident happened on Foote Avenue just south of Arterial in Jamestown on Friday around 6 p.m. Isabella Stanford went down the hill on her sled and into the roadway, where she was struck by a vehicle. Police do not expect to press charges against the driver.
The 5-year-old was taken to WCA Hospital, where she later died.
Police are still investigating the accident.
