FINDLEY LAKE, N.Y. (WIVB) - A 7-year-old was injured Thursday night after falling from a chairlift at Peak N' Peek resort.
The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office say the child was taken by ambulance to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA after falling from the lift around 9 p.m. Officials say the boy was on the lift by himself. His mother was two chairs ahead of him and his father was on the ground.
The boy apparently did not have the security bar pulled down when officials say he learned over to talk to his father and he fell to the ground.
He was taken to Hamet Hospital where he was examined for a mild concussion and later released. He returned home to Ohio with his parents.
