OLEAN, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's been almost two years since violent summer storms carved out a path of destruction through parts of western New York.

We've learned Cattaraugus County is still waiting for federal repair funds. Senator Chuck Schumer is pushing for the funds to be released so the county can be reimbursed. The August 2009 storms unleashed spawned heavy rain, flooding and damaging winds.
