ELLICOTTVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - In Ellicottville, the surrounding hills are ablaze with colors of the season.

Tens of thousands are expected for this weekend's Fall Fest, featuring an arts and craft show, carnival rides, and a large menu of unique foods.

Festival CEO Brian McFadden said, "Ellicottville is such a tradition in fall. It's Canadian Thanksgiving, it's the American Columbus Day weekend, everyone comes down to Ellicottville this weekend, enjoys the leaves, which are at peak this year, and our phenomenal 350-booth craft show."

The weekend festival also features live music, and the second annual "Ellicottville Idol" competition.
