FREDONIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - County health inspectors are pointing to some serious concerns at the water treatment plant in Village of Fredonia.

The Dunkirk Observer reports the county health department has listed several violations the plant must fix this year. This includes the installation of a backflow prevention device at two locations. The departments says the plant also needs to replace two old service pumps.

Just last month health officials issued a boil water advisory for the village because of a problem with the purification system.

That advisory has since been lifted.
