DUNKIRK, N.Y. (WIVB) - Fire officials have determined the cause of a fire on King Street in Dunkirk that destroyed a family's home.

Authorities say Tuesday morning's fire was caused by a child playing with fire in the kitchen. By the time crews arrived around 6 a.m., the residence was already full involved.

Everyone escaped the blaze safely. The investigation into the blaze continues.
