Wegmans to open Italian restaurant
Eatery planned for Rochester store

ROCHESTER, NY (WIVB) - Wegmans has an Italian Restaurant on its shopping list in Rochester.
The supermarket chain is planning to open its first Italian restaurant in Rochester at its East Ave. store.
Rochester media outlets report that Wegmans has filed for a liquor license for Market Café Amore which will be a full service Italian eatery.
Wegmans does operate pubs at several of its markets and also owns the Next Door Bar & Grill in Pittsford.
No word on if there are plans on the board for restaurants in the Buffalo-area Wegmans.
