FORT ERIE, ONT. (WIVB) - A large Fort Erie Pharmaceutical firm will be filing for bankruptcy and hoping to restructure to fend off closing.

The Niagara Falls Review reports that Jarvis Street Pharma employees 200 workers and has been struggling to keep its finances in the black.

The firm was formerly known as Pharmetics Inc.   JSP was recently part of a larger corporation which was sold to buyer that did not have the Fort Erie facility in its plans.
