ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Eastman Kodak Co. has will freeze the pay for its American employees - at least for the next 12 months.

The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports that the company announced the pay freeze but declined to say how much savings are expected following that action.

The company employs more than 5,000 people in the Rochester area. Kodak filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in January.
