ATTICA, N.Y. (RELEASE) - State Police from the Warsaw Barracks responded to Attica Correctional Facility on July 27th to take custody of two women who were detained by Corrections Officers.
Investigation led to the arrest of Corrine Holloway, 40 years of age of Buffalo, NY and Poneviliy Vongsay, 19 years of age of Buffalo, NY. Both women were charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd after they allegedly tried to smuggle an amount of heroin and crack cocaine into the facility during an inmate visit.
Both women were arraigned on the charges before the Attica Town Justice and were then remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $10,000.00 bail. They will both reappear at a later date in the Attica Court to further answer the charges.
